On September 27, 2025, ADRA Malawi had the privilege of worshipping with the congregation at Area 49, Lingadzi SDA Church in Lilongwe. Led by Dr. Martha Kamwiyo, this visit marked the beginning of ADRA Malawi’s initiative to connect more closely with SDA churches across Malawi, starting in the capital city.
The day’s program was rich with fellowship and inspiration. ADRA Malawi took part in the morning service, Sabbath School, Divine Service, and the afternoon program. Members of the Lingadzi SDA Church warmly welcomed ADRA Malawi, creating an atmosphere of unity and shared purpose.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Kamwiyo emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between the church and ADRA: “ADRA is not separate from the church it is the church in action. Our presence in congregations like Lingadzi is a reminder that together, we can live out ADRA’s motto: Justice, Compassion, Love.”
ADRA Malawi extends heartfelt gratitude to Lingadzi SDA Church for their hospitality and partnership. This collaboration strengthens the bond between the church and ADRA as they continue working together to bring positive change to communities across Malawi.
